1) Create garments with confidence - Dress patterns are only a guide, you should not rely on blindly copying them
2) Apply the skills you learn - Chapters 1-3 will teach you the basics of creating garments in Marvelous Designer as well as common techniques for creating specific garment elements - once you have learned them, you can apply them directly to your own costume! In my case, I created a clown costume in Chapter 4, and you will see that I used many of the skills taught in the previous lessons.
3) Real-time optimised workflow - while optimised scenes tend to run smoother and faster, one nice benefit is that you don't need the latest and greatest hardware! Budget friendly and you can still create great projects :)!
I'm very happy about this cooperation with Wingfox and share my knowledge with you guys!^^
In this tutorial you will learn how to create beautiful and believable clothing from scratch, as well as advanced techniques to improve your costume creations. You will learn where to focus your efforts to create visually realistic clothing in 3D. We will also look at a possible approach for an optimised clothing workflow from Marvleous Designer 12 to Unreal Engine 5, and learn a bit about retopology and texturing along the way.
